Scent Spotlight: Peppermint Spa Bar

We're starting a new blog series which will give you a closer look our specially-selected LaviShea scents. Kicking things off, we'll be spotlighting one of our newest additions to our lineup, the Peppermint Spa Bar!

You may be most familiar with peppermint by way of peppermint tea, which is often used to soothe upset stomachs. The humble peppermint plant boasts a number of healthy benefits, and our newest scent is made with high-quality peppermint essential oil, which is naturally antifungal and antibacterial.

When applied topically, peppermint oil decreases the chances of contracting the dreaded fungal infection, making it an ideal addition to your mani/pedi routine! Peppermint oil is also naturally cooling, and it is a known pain reliever. Finally, it reduces swelling and increases circulation, making it an excellent choice for those with circulatory issues or diabetes.

Its refreshing scent will uplift your spirits, soothing stress and mental exhaustion; it is also useful in relieving nausea and headaches (even migraines!). The skin-loving ingredients of each LaviShea bar will keep your skin hydrated and supple, too - it's no wonder we dubbed our newest scent the Peppermint Spa Bar!

Introducing 3 new LaviShea scent selections, just in time for summer!

Our Citronella bar will keep pesky bugs away....naturally! The scent is crisp and refreshing without being overpowering. This bar uses essential oils for a clean, fresh and lemony fragrance.

Coconut Lime Verbena is back! This tropical fragrance features the smoothness of coconut infused with lime zest. The unique addition of verbena provides a nice grounded note to this scent.

Our Peppermint spa bar features the cool and refreshing essential oil of - you guessed it - peppermint! It is known for its energizing properties, plus it is also a natural cleaner & antimicrobial for those heels!

Earlier this month, we headed to the TNNA Trade Show in Indianapolis, IN, where we debuted our new packaging! We have been hearing rave reviews from everyone who has given it a test drive, and you should see our new packing arrive in a store near you in the months to come!

Why the new look, you ask? There are lots of reasons, but the one that is nearest and dearest to our heart is this: our new packaging is made in the USA - in fact, it's 100% made in Colorado! We're pleased to support our local economy by joining in the byColorado initiative.

Springtime Inspiration!

It took a while, but Spring has finally sprung (for the most part!). We've been collecting our springtime inspirations over on Pinterest: everything from gardening inspiration to spring-y crafts and fun new nail looks for the season!

For many of you, springtime means spending more time outdoors. It also means that you might need to change up your moisturizing routine: for instance, did you know that Lavender essential oil is a natural mosquito repellent? If you'll be gardening, picnicking or hiking this spring, make sure you bring your Lavender Lavishea bar along for the journey!

Here's another use for Lavishea bars which may surprise you: many of our fans have reported using our bars to keep their baseball gloves conditioned. We recommend our Unscented bar or The Man Bar (pictured below) for the job, but you could easily pick any scent you like, of course!
