We've just returned from The National NeedleArts (TNNA) trade show in Phoenix, AZ, which is where folks in the yarn, fiber, and needlepoint industry come together to share the newest products and trends. It was an inspirational weekend, and we'd love to share the joys of knitting with all of our fans with a trend which emerged last year and continues in its popularity as we kick off 2015: arm knitting.

Arm knitting is a quick introduction to the world of fiber, and it requires very little in the way of supplies to get you started: just grab some yarn and you're ready to go! There are tons of free tutorials and fun projects available online, many of which can be completed in under an hour's time. Here are just a few of our favorites to get you started:

Earlier this month, we headed to the TNNA Trade Show in Indianapolis, IN, where we debuted our new packaging! We have been hearing rave reviews from everyone who has given it a test drive, and you should see our new packing arrive in a store near you in the months to come!

Why the new look, you ask? There are lots of reasons, but the one that is nearest and dearest to our heart is this: our new packaging is made in the USA - in fact, it's 100% made in Colorado! We're pleased to support our local economy by joining in the byColorado initiative.

Springtime Inspiration!

It took a while, but Spring has finally sprung (for the most part!). We've been collecting our springtime inspirations over on Pinterest: everything from gardening inspiration to spring-y crafts and fun new nail looks for the season!

For many of you, springtime means spending more time outdoors. It also means that you might need to change up your moisturizing routine: for instance, did you know that Lavender essential oil is a natural mosquito repellent? If you'll be gardening, picnicking or hiking this spring, make sure you bring your Lavender Lavishea bar along for the journey!
